C-F Parent/Guardian Appointments:

From time to time, you may wish to seek an appointment for your child to speak with one of our counselors.  If this is about a classroom concern, we recommend that you first make contact with your child's classroom teacher to discuss the issue.

We would love to meet with you and discuss how we can support both you and your child.  We encourage you to schedule an appointment with Mrs. Hughes or Mrs. Turnbull by using the links below.  This ensures that we are able to meet with you in a timely manner.   We look forward to meeting with you!

Carmen Hughes

Hello!  My name is Carmen Hughes and this is my 11th year as the K-12 School Counselor at Camden-Frontier!  I love our small school and am so thankful that I get to work with such awesome students.  I am married to my husband Andy and we have two boys--Jack, 10 and Jase, 6.  We love to be outside riding go carts, building forts in the woods, or playing catch in the yard with our yellow lab, Maple.  I graduated from MSU with a bachelor's degree in Home Economics Education, worked for a local tool & die company for 10 years, and later went on to get my master's degree in School Counseling from Spring Arbor University.
