Welcome to Camden-Frontier's Counseling Department

Our comprehensive counseling services have been updated to address the unique needs of our students in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.  An overview of services is below.  Please use the links provided or contact us for more information.

C-F Student Appointments:

Mrs. Fenstermaker would love to meet with you to talk about your classes, applying for scholarships, or just to say hi!  Click on my calendar link below to schedule a virtual appointment, phone call or Zoom with me!

C-F Parent/Guardian Appointments:

From time to time, you may wish to seek an appointment for your child to speak with one of our counselors.  If this is about a classroom concern, we recommend that you first make contact with your child's classroom teacher to discuss the issue.

We would love to meet with you and discuss how we can support both you and your child.  We encourage you to schedule an appointment with Mrs. Turnbull by using the links below.  This ensures that we are able to meet with you in a timely manner.   We look forward to meeting with you!

Hello!  My name is Tennille Fenstermaker, and I am the Student Advisor at Camden-Frontier! I am a proud C-F graduate and have spent over 20 years in education, teaching at the high school as well as the college level.

I love working with such an amazing staff and students. I cherish our small school and have been involved in our community ever since I graduated high school. I am married to my husband, Josh, and we have three children, Elsi, Drake, and Brit, who all have attended or currently attend C-F. In the summer months, you'll find me working alongside my husband in our family-0wned landscape business. We love to be outside enjoying our mini farm with our two two labs, Maggie and Mollie. Our favorite family vacation spot is our cabin up north.

After graduating from C-F, I attended and received my associate's degree from Jackson College then transferred to Trine University where I obtained my bachelor's degree in English Education. Several years ago, I went back to school and got my master's degree from Arizona State University.

I am delighted to be at C-F and am looking forward to serving and guiding our local youth.

Sharon Turnbull

Hello CF Family! My name is Sharon Turnbull and I’m happy to be at Camden-Frontier Schools as a Mental Health Provider. I am here full time, and I am certified to work with all grade levels. I graduated from Siena Heights University and have held a state license in Community Counseling since 2002.  I have been in Hillsdale County School Districts since 2003 as a traveling counselor. As a mental health provider, I can offer support and guidance to anyone finding themselves with a stressful situation at school or at home. Confidentiality is extremely important to me, and I want your child/ren to feel they are comfortable talking to me.

I have 4 adult children, 9 grandchildren, and 2 large Newfoundland dogs named Bella and Bailey. I love to be around water, travel and go to concerts, especially if they involve Rick Springfield. Please feel free to email or call me anytime during normal business hours.
